These Terms of Service govern your use of the BuddyMe app and website.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to all users of the BuddyMe app and website. By registering, you accept these terms.
2. Service Description
BuddyMe is a platform that connects people for shared activities. Users can share what they're open for, connect with others, and organize meetups.
3. Registration and Account
Registration is required to use BuddyMe. You must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate information.
4. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to:
- Provide only accurate information
- Not share illegal or harmful content
- Treat other users respectfully
- Not misuse the app for dating or romantic purposes
- Not send spam messages
- Not create fake profiles
5. Prohibited Content
The following content is prohibited on BuddyMe:
- Sexual or suggestive content
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- Content glorifying violence
- Spam, advertising, or commercial content
- Fraud or misleading information
- Copyrighted content without authorization
6. Premium Membership
BuddyMe offers a paid Premium membership with additional features. Prices and conditions are displayed before purchase. Payment is processed through the app stores (Apple/Google).
7. Premium Cancellation
Premium subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Cancellation is done through the respective app store (iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, Android: Play Store → Subscriptions).
8. Termination and Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Go to Profile → Privacy → Delete my account in the app. After deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
BuddyMe is only liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as damages from grossly negligent or intentional breaches of duty. Liability for the actions of other users is excluded. BuddyMe does not guarantee successful matches or meetups.
10. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR):

We are neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11. Applicable Law
The law of the Republic of Austria applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence also apply.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you can delete your account.
13. Severability
If individual provisions of these Terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
